Spotify Recommended Me Some Unexpected Songs.

The recommended songs from Spotify scare me.

Today, I was looking for more songs, because I’m kind of getting bored of the songs I listen to, so I decided to go to the explore page on Spotify and saw one of the playlists that recommends you songs based on the ones that you listen to and omg I have no words for the combination of songs that was on that playlist.

I was shocked, like I knew that my music taste was very random but I did not expect that kind of random in my recommendations. So, I want to share four random songs I got, I have not listen to them yet, because I run to write this entry when I saw them.

The first song on the playlist was “(I Wanna Be) Like Other Girls” from the Mulan II soundtrack. I did not even know that there was a Mulan II, so that came as a shock to me, but I kind of get why it is on the playlist, sometimes I listen to “I’ll Make a Man Out of You” from the first Mulan movie, so it kind of makes sense, but I dont listen to it often, so at the same time it does not make sense, because I do not listen to disney music ever.

Then they were several songs from Elton John and one from Whitney Houston, those songs make sense being there because I listen to Elton John and 80s music, so this did not came as a shock to me. But then I have “Bohemian Rhapsody” recommended which at first I thought It made sense, but then I realized that spotify did not recommend me the original version, they recommended me the glee version, THE ONE FROM THE SCENE WHERE QUINN GIVES BIRTH AND THE SCREAMING IS SYNCHRONIZED WITHE THE SONG, I truly dont have words that would explain my confusion when I saw that it was the glee version.

I Also got a song from the Deadpool 2 soundtrack which is very random because I have never seen Deadpool, but I kind of get that they would recommend me songs from soundtracks because I listen to a lot of them, but why Deadpool?.

So, those were some of the most random songs I got, tbh I did not expect most of them specially the one from glee, so, maybe I will give them a chance and listen to them.

hope you enjoyed this entry and see you in the next one!
